This just breaks my heart. I was a novice at the Convent of St. Laurence, Field Lane during the 1960's. I can't believe that this community is now flats...I would love to hear from anyone who now lives there. What happened to the chapel? What happened to the gardener Cyril's cottage? Are the snowdrops still there in such abundance? Is there still an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity?
